The walk up Corb Law rewards you with proper views across Perthshire - nothing dramatic, but genuinely pleasant once you're up there. It's a modest peak that takes about an hour from the car park, following a clear track through moorland that shifts between bracken and heather depending on the season. The summit itself sits around 1,100 feet, so it's no Cairngorm slog, but you'll notice the climb.

This one's best for walkers who want a straightforward afternoon rather than an all-day mission, or families with kids old enough to manage an hour's steady walking without complaint. The views south towards Perth and across the surrounding hills are worth the effort, especially on a clear day when you can see properly. On grey days it's just a moorland tramp with nothing much to show for it.

You'll find it near Perth, which makes it convenient if you're based at one of the local caravan parks - Greenhill Farm Glamping or Broadslap Farm are within reasonable distance. It's the sort of walk you'd do while staying at Maycroft Retreat or Alexander House if the weather's decent and you fancy something simple that doesn't require navigation skills. Free, obviously - it's a hillside. Allow two hours total if you're not racing, and go when you've got daylight on your side, particularly in winter when the light vanishes by half three.
