If you're visiting during peak season, the Malton area gets busy with families exploring the Wolds and nearby attractions. Cool K9 makes a decent pit stop if you've got dogs in tow - gives them a bit of attention and you a brief break from the car. It's not a day-long destination, but paired with a walk in the surrounding countryside or a visit to Malton proper, it slots in well enough.
