It's free, naturally. No facilities, no crowds - which is either the whole appeal or a reason to give it a miss depending on what you're after. Families with small children won't find much to hold their attention beyond five minutes, and the exposed clifftop won't suit everyone. But if you're based at Wooda Farm Holiday Park up the road, it's an easy extension to a coastal walk rather than a destination in itself.

Compass Point slots neatly into a broader wander along this stretch of the North Cornish coast. It's worth the detour if you're already out walking, genuinely worthwhile. On its own? Bit lean. Pair it with Summerleaze Beach back in Bude or push further along the path for better value on your time.
