Families from nearby holiday parks like Little Lakes and Lickhill Manor make regular pilgrimages here, especially when the blossom's out in spring or the harvest begins in late summer.

Children absolutely love this place. They can wander between the trees, help themselves to windfalls (with permission), and learn about traditional fruit growing without any of the stuffiness of a formal attraction. The paths are pushchair-friendly, though wellies are wise after rain.

Timing matters here. Visit in May for the blossom show, or September through October for the proper harvest experience. Winter visits feel a bit pointless unless you're into bare-branch photography. The orchard operates on trust - there's usually a honesty box for any fruit you take, and locals are always happy to chat about the different varieties.

This works brilliantly as a gentle morning activity if you're staying at one of the nearby parks. Bank Farm and Wolverley Camping are both under four miles away, making it an easy bike ride for older kids. Worth combining with a walk into Bewdley itself - the town's Georgian streets and riverside location make for a proper day out.
