Cockshill Wood

A proper woodland walk rather than a formal attraction, Cockshill Wood sits just outside Kingsbridge and delivers exactly what you'd expect from a Devon forest - dappled light, decent paths, and the kind of quiet that makes you remember why you came down here in the first place. The wood itself is mixed woodland with enough variety to keep things interesting: oak, beech, and conifer in patches, with a stream running through that's worth following if you've got time.
