Carn na Frith-aird Viewpoint

The drive up to Carn na Frith-aird takes you away from Kyle of Lochalsh into proper Highland terrain, and the reward at the top is genuinely worth the effort. You're looking out across Loch Alsh and towards Skye - the light catches those mountains differently depending on the weather, which means you could visit three times and see three completely different views.

It's a straightforward pull-off viewpoint rather than a marked trail, though there's a short walk up if you fancy stretching your legs. Most people stop for ten minutes, snap some photos, and head back down. That's fine - the vista does most of the work for you.
