If you're based at one of the local holiday parks - Dale Farm, Lambs, or Greenhills are all within a few miles - it's a decent half-hour detour on your way somewhere else rather than a destination in itself. Open hours and admission fees aren't crystal clear from a distance, so ring ahead or check when you're in Bakewell. Proper village gallery, not tourist trap.
