Burns Monument

The Burns Monument sits on a hillside overlooking Alloway in South Ayrshire, a stone tower built to honour Scotland's national poet Robert Burns. It's one of those places that feels properly significant the moment you arrive - not showy, just solid and purposeful.

Once you're inside, you'll climb a tight spiral staircase to the top where the views across Ayrshire open up considerably.
