This is very much a local history spot, not a flashy museum. Families with young children might find it a bit dry unless you've got a budding maritime historian in tow. It works best as a rainy-day stop when you're already in Bude, or if you're genuinely curious about how the town developed. If you're staying at Wooda Farm Holiday Park just up the road, it's a straightforward fifteen-minute walk into town. Atlantic Surf Pods is closer, though the Sea Hut won't appeal to everyone in that crowd. Best visit on a weekday morning when it's quiet.
