Boughton Park (Worcester Golf and Country Club)

This is a private members' golf course on the outskirts of Worcester, and unless you're a golfer with a handicap and connections, you won't be playing here. That said, if you're staying at one of the caravan parks nearby - Peachley is closest at just over 3 miles away - it's worth knowing what's in the area beyond the fairways.

Boughton Park itself sits on decent land with mature trees and the kind of manicured greens that take proper investment to maintain. It's been a country club setup for years, which means there's usually a restaurant and bar on site if you're a member or a guest of one. The course runs to about 6,500 yards, nothing too extreme but respectable enough.

For non-golfers, honestly, there's not much to do here. You can't walk the course, and the club keeps itself private. If you're a keen golfer staying in a caravan nearby and want to track down a day ticket through connections, ring ahead - some private clubs do reciprocal arrangements, though it's never guaranteed.

What matters more if you're basing yourself at Peachley or Mill House Caravan Site is that Worcester itself is only a few miles away, with the cathedral, riverside walks, and decent pubs worth the short drive. Boughton Park is really only relevant if golf is your thing and you've got the right credentials.
