Bert's Adventure Golf is exactly what it sounds like - a proper nine-hole miniature golf course just outside Driffield where you can knock a ball around for an hour or so without taking yourself too seriously. It's the kind of thing that works brilliantly on a rainy afternoon when the kids are climbing the walls at the caravan site, or when you fancy a bit of competitive fun that doesn't require actual sporting ability.

The course has all the standard obstacles you'd expect: windmills, loops, ramps. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. You're not going to be blown away by the design, but that's rather the point. This is straightforward entertainment, not Instagram gold. The pace is quick enough that even younger children won't lose interest halfway through, and it's gentle enough that grannies and granddads can join in without getting frustrated.

It works perfectly as a filler activity during a park holiday around Driffield. The admission won't break the bank, and it beats sitting in a motorhome waiting for the rain to stop.
