Conwy itself is a cracking medieval town with the castle as the draw, but if you're staying nearby - Golden Sands Holiday Park is only a few miles away towards Rhyl - this gallery offers a decent break from the seaside-resort circuit. Spend an hour here, then walk the town walls or grab coffee in one of the cafes that surround the castle square. Opening hours and admission aren't always advertised online, so ring ahead before making the trip. On a wet North Wales afternoon, though, it's far better than another amusement arcade.
