The 1st March Scout Hall sits on the edge of March, a working nature reserve that's far more about the landscape than the building itself. This is proper fenland - flat, open, and surprisingly absorbing if you know what you're looking for. Families with keen young naturalists will engage properly; those after playground entertainment will find it dull. Serious birdwatchers should time visits for early morning in migration season - spring and autumn really count.
