Go-kart racing just outside March, and you've got yourself a proper afternoon's entertainment. Krazy Karts is the sort of place that gets families and groups genuinely competitive - the kind of venue where someone always claims they were robbed by a dodgy corner marshal, and everyone laughs about it in the car park afterwards.

The track itself is manageable rather than Olympic, which works in its favour. Kids can actually have a crack at it without needing a racing licence, and adults don't feel like they're wasting their afternoon on something too childish. You're looking at standard go-kart racing - nothing fancy, nothing that needs explaining twice.

Realistic time investment is about two to three hours if you're doing multiple heats and hanging around. It's not the kind of place to build a day around, but it slots nicely into a park holiday. If you're staying at Fenland Camping and Caravan Park or Knightsbridge just a few miles away, it's close enough for an afternoon break without mucking about with long drives. Same goes for Westerby Farm or Fields End Water if you're based further out.

Pacing matters here. Go mid-week if you can, or early morning at weekends. The atmosphere's better when you're not queuing thirty deep. Bring cash if you're planning to race multiple times - it usually works out cheaper than buying online, though that's something to confirm when you visit.

It's a solid filler activity, not a destination in itself. But for a camping holiday in the Fenlands with kids or a group after some laughs, you could do worse.
