Parkdean Resorts Sandy Bay Holiday Park, Northumberland

We stayed in a lodge which was in a lovely quiet part of the park. Beach access was ideal and wasn't too far from our accomodation. A few extra towels in the lodge would be helpful for future guests.

Have stayed here 2 or 3 times a year for the past 7 years, just an amazing sunrise sea view to wake up to, a lovely sandy beach, and perfect for the kids with the swimming pool, entertainment facilities and lots of amazing places to visit across Northumberland - only a short drive to anywhere. A great base for exploring the North East.

This is the first time we have visited Sandy Bay and we were not disappointed. Great location over looking the sea. We have a caravan with sea view which is beautiful. A few bits of cleaning missed but not the end of the world. Main bedroom door has been hit by a previous guest and not been replaced, also some damage on the en-suite door. The location is great and the service is always good. The down side is the cleanliness of the caravans, you can go on one trip and they are pristine, another it's so bad you have to some cleaning yourself prior to using anything. But don't get me wrong, the staff are lovely, and always help where they can, but it is clear they are shorter staffed than they used to be.
