Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrows

Climbing up to Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrows feels like stepping back about 4,500 years. These Bronze Age burial mounds sit on open downland near Abbotsbury, and there's something properly atmospheric about standing among them - the landscape barely changed since Neolithic peoples raised these earthworks.
