It's the kind of attraction that works best on a slower afternoon rather than a rushed visit.

Families with younger kids will get a solid hour or so out of it, though anyone expecting the scale of a major zoo will find it modest by comparison. The real appeal is the intimacy of it - you're not herded through crowds, and the birds aren't behind vast distances of glass. Photographers actually stand a chance of decent shots here.
