There's no admission fee to speak of, and no specific opening hours - it's just there. Families with younger kids will manage fine on the main paths, though it can get muddy in winter so don't wear your best shoes. Serious walkers might find it a bit compact, but as a gentle forest wander between Market Rasen and the higher ground of the Lincolnshire Wolds, it works.
