The gallery punches above its weight for a Fife venue. Staff are genuinely friendly, and there's proper thought gone into the curation. I'd allow 45 minutes to an hour, maybe longer if there's a particularly engaging show. Check ahead though - opening hours and admission weren't entirely clear from what I could find, so ringing ahead makes sense. It's free entry when it is open, which is brilliant.

If you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - Balbirnie Park or Kingdom Caravan Park are both within walking distance - this is a decent rainy-day option or a cultural breather between outdoor activities. Glenrothes itself isn't exactly a tourist hotspot, but for a Fife-based holiday it's worth the detour if you're after something beyond the usual seaside fare.
