Trilakes Fishery and Country Park

Three lakes spread across what feels like proper countryside, despite being barely outside Wokingham. The fishery side is exactly what it says: anglers come here seriously, with their kit and their patience. But you don't need a rod to make it worthwhile. The walking paths loop around the water's edge, giving decent views without demanding much effort. It's gentle terrain, the sort of place where you can wander for an hour without really noticing time passing. Kids won't stay entertained all day, but a morning visit with a packed lunch by the water works fine.
