This works best for people who actually enjoy flat landscapes rather than those expecting drama. Walkers find it useful as a break point on longer routes through the fens; families with young kids might spend twenty minutes here max before restlessness kicks in. Bring binoculars if you're into birdwatching - the fen attracts waders and wildfowl, especially in winter. On windy days it can feel properly exposed, so dress accordingly.
