Torrington Baptist Church

The Baptist chapel on Torrington's High Street is a proper slice of Victorian nonconformist architecture, all red brick and earnest proportions. It sits among the town's Georgian and earlier buildings like a statement of faith made solid - austere where the merchants' houses are showy, functional where they're ornamental.
