Tin Man Art sits just outside Newbury and trades in contemporary work that wouldn't look out of place in a London white-cube gallery, except here it's housed in an actual industrial shed. That's rather the point.

You'll find sculpture, painting, and installation art rotating through the space, with a strong lean towards emerging and established names who work across traditional and experimental mediums. The setting itself becomes part of the experience - the raw brick, the soaring ceilings, the way natural light floods through industrial windows. It forces the work to earn its place without the usual gallery theatre.

This isn't the spot for a quick 20-minute wander. Plan on 90 minutes if you're genuinely interested, longer if a particular exhibition grabs you. Families with older kids who can sustain concentration will get something from it; younger ones may find it overstimulating or simply dull depending on what's on.
