The Three Tuns

The Three Tuns sits on Thirsk's high street as a proper working pub with serious medieval bones. If you're based at Hillside Caravan Park nearby, it's worth the short drive into town for an afternoon. Woodland Lakes Lodges is a bit further out but still manageable. The pub doesn't charge admission - you're expected to spend money on drinks and food, which seems fair enough for something this old.
