The Pooh’seum

Walking into Pooh Corner in Edenbridge feels like stepping into E.H. Shepard's original illustrations. The museum is small but genuinely absorbing if you've got any affection for Winnie the Pooh - and frankly, even if you haven't, there's something rather lovely about seeing the actual first editions and artefacts that launched a hundred-year obsession with a bear of very little brain.

It's not vast - allow a good hour, maybe ninety minutes if you're reading everything. Kids under six might lose interest after twenty minutes; seven and up, especially if they've read the books, will probably want the full tour.
