Most visitors spend between 90 minutes and two hours here, though you could breeze through in 45 if you're just passing.

It's best suited to anyone with a genuine interest in exploration history rather than families expecting interactive fun - under-tens will likely lose interest quickly. Admission is free, which feels generous given the quality. Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm, closed Sundays and Mondays except bank holidays. The Cambridge caravan sites are all within easy reach, making this a proper afternoon stop when you're based in the area.
