If you're staying at Stanmore Hall or Hay & Hedgerow nearby, it's a quick trip into Bridgnorth proper, which itself is worth half a day for the riverside walks and independent shops. Park Grange, four miles out, makes it equally accessible. Pair it with a walk along the Severn rather than treating it as a standalone destination.
