St Pancras

It's the sort of place walkers naturally drift into between countryside rambles. Families won't get much out of it beyond a quick look and a historical note, but anyone interested in how rural Cornwall actually lived will find it speaks volumes.

Parked at Wooda Farm Holiday Park? It's barely four miles away - easy enough to visit on a rainy afternoon or as part of a larger walk toward the coast. Free to get in, assuming the door's unlocked, and you can spend as little or as long as you fancy. Worth the detour if you're in the area, though don't expect drama.
