St Mary the Virgin dates back to the 12th century, and you can feel it the moment you step inside - low stone arches, worn flagstones, the works. The chancel's got some decent 14th-century work if you're into that sort of thing, and there's enough carved detail to keep you occupied for twenty minutes without it feeling like a history lecture.

This is really one for the church enthusiasts and anyone doing a walking circuit through the village. Kids will get restless after about ten minutes unless they're the type who like hunting for carved faces on pillars - which, to be fair, some do. The churchyard's pleasant enough for a wander, and it's the sort of place that gives you a genuine sense of what village life looked like centuries back.
