Built in the 1960s for Worksop's Catholic community, it's a proper mid-century piece of ecclesiastical architecture - functional, honest, with none of the Victorian fussiness you'd expect elsewhere in Nottinghamshire. Inside, the space is surprisingly calm. Light pours through the windows, hitting the altar with that deliberate simplicity you get in post-war Catholic design.

You won't need more than twenty minutes to have a proper look round.
