St. Cyres' Hill

The walk up St. Cyres' Hill takes about forty minutes from Honiton, and it's one of those climbs that feels steeper than the map suggests. The summit itself isn't dramatic - you're looking at open moorland rather than dramatic peaks - but the views across Devon spread out properly once you've caught your breath. On a clear day you can see right across to Exmoor, which makes the slog worthwhile.
