St Agatha's, West Gilling

The church sits tucked into West Gilling village like it's been there since before the Normans - because it basically has. St Agatha's is a solid medieval parish church with enough architectural bones to keep history buffs entertained for a good hour, though you won't need much longer than that unless you're doing serious stonework photography.

Inside, the real draw is the chancel work and the general sense of a place where actual worship has happened for centuries.
