Southport Pier

Budget forty minutes to an hour, more if you're the lingering type. Go when the weather's decent - driving rain rather spoils the effect.

Staying at Southport Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite puts you barely a mile away, so it's an easy evening walk from the park. Riverside Holiday Park and Leisure Lakes are further out but still workable if you're basing yourself in the area for a few days.
