Lincoln itself is well worth a day of wandering. Saint Germain fits naturally into a wander round the city's other medieval gems. If you're staying at Spire View Meadow, the glamping site just over 5 miles away, you've got a proper base for exploring. The location is excellent for that - close enough to pop into the cathedral and city, far enough to feel like you've escaped.
