Psycho Path

Psycho Path is a walk-through horror attraction in Tyne and Wear that trades in jump scares, theatrical gore, and the kind of deliberately trashy fun that works best when you're not taking yourself too seriously. Located near Derecroft, it's the sort of place you either get or you don't - and that's precisely the point.

You'll shuffle through themed rooms where actors in costume leap out at intervals, the lighting goes deliberately wrong, and there's enough fake blood to stock a low-budget slasher film. The experience takes about 45 minutes, though it moves at the pace of the group ahead, so if you're unlucky you might be waiting around. It's genuinely not for young children, and anyone seriously spooked by horror films should probably give it a miss.
