If you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - Milton Of Fonab is barely half a mile away - and you've had enough of outdoor activities for a morning, this is a genuinely useful spot to grab a book, sit quietly, and get a read of the place.

Thursday opening hours are 10am-1pm and 2-7pm; Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm. It's free to browse, though membership for borrowing requires a local address. The real value here isn't as a destination in itself - don't make a special trip - but as a respite on a wet afternoon or a way to connect with how Pitlochry actually functions away from the holiday season.
