Paws Adventure Park

Your kids will either love or hate this one - there's no middle ground with Paws Adventure Park. It's an animal-focused attraction near Hinckley where children can get hands-on with various creatures, which sounds straightforward enough until you're there trying to coax a reluctant seven-year-old into petting a rabbit for the fifth time.

The park works best for families with young children, roughly ages three to ten. If your kids are mad about animals and interactive experiences, they'll genuinely enjoy it. Older kids and teenagers tend to find it a bit thin on thrills, and the novelty can wear off within a couple of hours - something worth factoring in if you're basing your visit around admission fees.

Practically speaking, allow two to three hours maximum. Bring hand sanitizer because it's a working animal facility. The park sits reasonably close to both Fortway Farm Leisure & Fishery and Meadow Field Luxury Glamping, so it works as a decent half-day activity if you're staying at either site.

Honestly, it's worth a look if animals genuinely excite your children and you're already in the Hinckley area, but I wouldn't build an entire holiday around it. It's the sort of place that fills a rainy afternoon or breaks up a longer park stay rather than becoming the main event. Factor in the unpredictability of live animals too - sometimes the creatures are sociable, sometimes they're having an off day.
