Step inside though, and you find yourself in a proper medieval structure with real bones - original stonework, decent roof timbers, and the sort of accumulated history that feels honest rather than polished.

It's a working parish church, so opening hours can be unpredictable, but locals are usually helpful if you ask around Market Rasen town centre. The interior rewards a slow walk: look up at the ceiling, check the memorials on the walls, and spend a few minutes just sitting in the quiet. There's nothing flashy here, which is precisely the point.
