Oxford Road Baptist Church

A red-brick Victorian chapel that stops you mid-stride on Oxford Road in Hartlepool. Built in the 19th century when Nonconformist congregations were serious about their architecture, this place has the kind of solid, unapologetic character you don't see much anymore.
