It's not a theme park experience; this is a proper marina where yachts come and go, so the appeal depends entirely on whether you find that sort of thing interesting or just nice to look at.

What you actually get is a walk around the pontoons, a decent chance to watch boat owners faffing about with their gear, and some decent water views if the weather's on your side. There's a café or two dotted about, which is handy when you need a break. The whole thing takes maybe an hour, two hours max if you're really lingering over a coffee and watching the nautical comings and goings.

This works best for families with kids who've got a genuine interest in boats, or for anyone staying at the nearby caravan parks like Mercury Holiday Park or Dibles Park who wants a proper walk without going far. It's free to wander round, though you obviously can't access the private mooring areas or go clambering on other people's boats.
