It's essentially a woodland and meadow space that pulls double duty as both a nature reserve and a community tribute - the sort of place that feels genuinely cared for rather than corporate-managed.

What you get is straightforward: woodland paths threading through mature trees, open grassland with a scattering of benches, and genuinely decent bird and insect life if you're patient enough to look. The paths are easy going, nothing that'll knacker you out, making it ideal for a quick leg-stretch between other Hampshire activities.

It's the sort of place you'd visit as a circuit - park up at The Spinney Caravan Park just down the road, wander through here in the morning, then head into Alresford town centre for lunch or further afield to the larger Woodlands Camping spots if you're planning a longer stay.
