Mountjoy Wood

Mountjoy Wood is a proper woodland walk that catches most visitors off guard with how dense and atmospheric it feels so close to Ross-on-Wye. You're surrounded by tall oaks and beeches, the kind of forest that blocks out the sky and makes you forget you're in the Midlands at all. The paths are well-trodden but can get muddy - bring decent boots if it's been wet.
