Inside you'll find rotating exhibitions that tend toward the accessible end of the spectrum. They do photography, design, installations, sometimes work by emerging artists. It's the kind of place where you might stumble across something genuinely interesting, or you might walk through in forty minutes and feel you've ticked a box. Depends what's showing when you visit, really.

Families with teenagers will get more out of it than families with young kids - there's not much hands-on stuff, and a six-year-old will be bored senseless. But if you've got older kids who are into art or design, it's worth an hour of your time. Adults travelling without children will find it a decent rainy-day option.

The real appeal is the location. It's within walking distance of Gullivers Campsite and Adventurer's Village, both just under a mile away, so it's genuinely convenient if you're staying locally. Pop in when the weather turns rough, grab a coffee in the town centre, then head back to the campsite. Don't expect to lose half a day here, but as a quick cultural pit stop between the rides and play areas, it serves its purpose.
