Luke's Antiques is one of those places that rewards a slow afternoon if you're passing through March. It's a proper collector's museum rather than a formal institution - the kind of space where someone's lifetime of hunting has been stuffed into rooms, and you're invited to wander through it all. Furniture, curiosities, vintage bits and bobs, the sort of finds that take you back a few decades.

The appeal here depends entirely on what you're after. If you like rummaging through old stuff and spotting bargains, you'll lose track of time. Families with young kids might find it a bit slow - there's no hands-on element, just looking. But if your kids are the sort who prefer a quiet browse to shouting galleries, they'll be fine. Adults who collect, or who simply enjoy the hunt through someone else's curated chaos, will find it worthwhile.

Timing-wise, allow a good hour if you're genuinely interested, half that if you're just popping in between other things. It fits neatly into a Fenland holiday break - March itself is close enough to Fields End Water Caravan Park (2.8 miles away) or Fenland Camping and Caravan Park (4.4 miles) that you could easily visit on a quieter afternoon when you're not heading out to the Fens themselves.

The only real fly in the ointment: opening hours and admission fees aren't widely published, so ring ahead before you drive over. Nothing worse than showing up to find the doors locked.
