Little Common F.C. is a proper grassroots football club just outside Bexhill-on-Sea, the kind of place where you'll find genuine community football rather than polished Premier League theatrics. The ground hosts local league matches throughout the season - think Sussex County Football League standard - and it's the real deal if you want to see football played for the love of the game rather than the money.

It's frankly only worth your time if you're either a keen football watcher or you've got kids who'll get a kick out of watching a proper match. The atmosphere is unpretentious. Admission details aren't prominently listed, so ring ahead or check their Pitchero page before making the trip. You're looking at a couple of hours maximum if there's a match on.

If you're staying at Normans Bay Camping and Caravanning Club Site just down the road - about three miles away - and the football schedule aligns, it's a decent afternoon out. Pevensey Bay Holiday Park is a bit further at five miles, but still within reasonable striking distance. Neither park is particularly fancy, but they're proper seaside bases.

Honestly though, Little Common F.C. is more of an add-on than a destination. Bexhill itself has the seafront, and you'd be better off combining this with a stroll along the promenade or a visit to the De La Warr Pavilion if the weather's decent.
