Linton Wood

Cornwall's coast gets all the attention, rightly so, but inland pockets like this deserve a morning. The air smells different under the canopy, less salt-blown and more earthy. It won't knock your socks off if you're expecting something dramatic, but if you've done the beach circuit and need a break from the elements, it's absolutely worth the detour from Bude. Bring wellies if it's been wet.
