This is fundamentally a local spot, the kind of playground where Wallingford families pop in on a Saturday morning rather than a destination in itself. That said, if you're camping nearby at Bridge Villa or Benson Waterfront, both within five miles, it's a handy waystation between breakfast and whatever else the day holds. Wallingford itself has enough going on - the High Street, decent pubs, the riverside walk - so combining this playground with an afternoon in town makes sense.
