The reserve is managed for conservation, which means you'll find grassland, scrub, and patches of woodland that attract birds, insects, and small mammals. The walking is straightforward enough - no dramatic climbs or technical bits - making it accessible for families with older kids and anyone who fancies a gentle couple of hours without the crowds you'd find at the big honeypots. There's no visitor centre or facilities to speak of, so bring water and a decent pair of shoes.
