It works brilliantly as a break between longer park holidays. If you're staying at Stonehenge Campsite & Glamping just up the road, this is an ideal half-day outing that doesn't require driving far. Salisbury itself is only a few miles away for supplies and lunch options. The combination of hands-on nature work and proximity to Stonehenge makes it a solid addition to a Wiltshire trip, particularly if you've got children aged five to twelve who've got proper curiosity about the natural world.
