It's the kind of place where you can actually hear yourself think - dense enough to muffle road noise, open enough that you won't feel claustrophobic. The paths wind through beech and oak, with patches of undergrowth that suggest proper wildlife habitat rather than a manicured park.

Walkers will get the most from Jenny Sober. It's not dramatic terrain, but the forest floor is soft underfoot and there's enough variation in the tree coverage to keep things interesting for an hour or two. Families with younger kids might find it a bit limited unless they're genuinely into spotting woodland creatures - there's no playground, no visitor facilities, just forest.
